U13– Our U13 squad were in action last Sun 5th of October when we had 53 players in Bray hosting Ballyboden St. Enda’s, Kilmacud Crokes and Naas. These were 3 excellent club sides who proved to be a strong challenge for the Wicklow players.
There are 2 sessions left in this years calendar for the U13 Academy Squad – the 18th October and 1st of November. All players born in 2001 are asked and encouraged to make a big effort to attend the final 2 sessions.

U15 & U16– Our U15 & U16 squads are continuing S&C work under Gary Jameson & his coaches on Thursday evenings in Ballinakill.
Wicklow Senior Schools Team – The Wicklow Senior Schools had a disappointing opening to the Leinster ‘A’ Colleges League vs ArdScoil Tríonoide, Athy on Thursday 2nd last.

‘GCA in our Post Primary Schools’ – Pilot Program – In a pilot program, the GCA in conjunction with local clubs, school staff & Wicklow GDA’s and with the support of Coiste na nIarbhunscoileanna are combining to help the preparation of schools teams for upcoming Post Primary competitions. The 3 schools chosen for this pilot scheme are; CCM Wicklow Town, CCA Kilcoole & Scoil Chonglas Baltinglass.
CCM are already up and running & this week sees the start of the program in CCA Kilcoole (Wed 8th- 1.20pm to 2.40pm) & Scoil Chonglais, Baltinglass (Thurs 9th 3.30pm to 5.0pm)
