All men welcome. Normal activity continues Monday to Thursday at the Workshop at Troopersfield. Furniture for sale on these days. On Fridays from 10.30am till 4pm there is the weekly Leisure Day in St. Joseph’s Hall including craic, music, table tennis, pool and darts and interesting talks.
At 11.30 am on Friday the 21st Kevin Byrne will give an illustrated talk ‘A Journey to Bosnia’ about his experiences working in war torn Bosnia.
Our table tennis and pool competitions will commence on Friday the 28th of November. Entry is open to non- members.
There will be a table tennis event open to all men of all ages and a second event for men over 55. You can enter both if you are over 55 and fancy your chances! Each will start with a round robin before a knock-out stage. The pool competition is open to all-comers. There will be good prizes for the winners and runners-up and an entry fee of EURO 2 per event. Entries may be made by signing the form at Hennessy’s Hardware in Blessington, or at the Shed, or by phone to Howard at 087 6618876. Entries close on Wednesday the 26th of November.
