Christmas Lights

The switching on of The Christmas Tree Lights in Ballinglen will take place on  next Sunday evening  December 14 , Commencing at 6pm. The evening festitives will include Blessing of the Crib, Carol singing and the arrival of Santa himself. Refreshments afterwards in Doyle’s Lounge, Ballinglen.

45 Card Game

45 card game on next Friday night,  December 12, in Annacurra Community Centre, starting at 8-30pm.

Whist Drive Tinahely

There will be a Whist Drive in  The Pariocal Hall , Tinahely on Thursday  December 11 starting at 8-30 pm

Christmas Card

The Annacurra Parish Christmas Card is now on sale at €1 euro each or 6 for €5 euro. Available  after Masses or from School or from Local Shops.

School Enrolment

St Brigid’s National School, Annacurra are now taking enrolments for 2014/15.

Enrolment forms can be obtained from the School Office during school hours or by phoning 0402 36669

Gaa Lotto

Results for  December 1 . No jackpot winner  . Numbers drawn 14-16-20-22.  Match 3 winners. Rory O’Brien, Aughrim; TJ Doyle, Kilpipe and Ann O’Brien, Cronawinna.  Jackpot stands at €8.950 euro. Draw held in Saltee on Monday night.

Carol Service

To mark the 150 Anniversary of our Parish Church, St Brigids. The Annacurra national school  children will celebrate a special Carol Service in the Church on Monday evening December 15 at 7-30pm. The Parish community is invited to take part in this celebration.
