TINAHELY WALKING CLUB
Potential new walkers please note… Would you like to come along with the Tinahely walking club on their first walks after Christmas? You might like it. A weekly walk could be a healthy New Year’s resolution you could keep (most of the time or some of the time). E-mail Robert Duffy at robtduffy@gmail.com for further information.
On Sunday Dec 28 the walk is at Croghan-Moira (Grade B, 14km, 4 hours approx) meeting in Tinahely square at 10.30pm. On Sunday January 4 the walk is Haddens Hill-Crossbridge New Year Walk (Grade B, 10-12km, 3 hours approx) meeting in Tinahely Square. Please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear. (Walk grades: A is the hardest and C is the easiest – depends on gradient and duration.) SYMPATHY
Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Gerry Doran, Woodview Heights, Coolboy who died during the week, his remains were removed to Coolfancy on Tuesday evening and burial took place on Wednesday.

Carnew First Responders are now getting calls from Wexford, which will cover Askamore, Coollattin, Ballyellis, and surrounding areas, they can be contact by dialling 999 or 112 and asking for the ambulance service.

CHARITY WALK
A charity hill walk will take place on Sunday 28th December from the Nine Stones Viewing Point to the top of Mount Leinster and back starting at 10.30am. Donations on the day to the Hope Cancer Support Centre, Enniscorthy.
