Potential new walkers please note… Would you like to come along with the Tinahely walking club on their first walks in 2015? You might like it. A weekly walk could be a healthy New Year’s resolution you could keep (most of the time or some of the time). E-mail Robert Duffy at for further information.

On Sunday January 11 the walk is at Tara Hill (Grade C, 8-10km, 2.5 hours approx) meeting in Tinahely Square at 10.30. Please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear. (Walk grades: A is the hardest and C is the easiest – depends on gradient and duration.) Details of the next walking schedules will be finalised shortly.

Carnew Agricultural Show Society are holding their AGM on Monday 12th January at 8pm in St Brigid’s Hall,Carnew, new members are welcome to come along. 2015 will be the 70th anniversary so please come and help keep this show alive.

Unslim will re-open on 6th January and is free to join for 6th and 13th pay only €10 saving €15 at Carnew Resource Centre at 9.30am and 5.45 pm, all welcome to come along.
