Sympathy is extended to the family of Bridget Daynes who died recently. Bridget who was predeceased by her husband Billy and daughter Ann is mourned by her daughters Helen, Bridget and Helen, sons Charles, Sean and Willie, sisters Eileen and Philomena and many relatives and friends. Bridget’s funeral took place in Dunlavin on Christmas Eve .May Bridget rest in peace.

Breast Cancer Fundraiser
Thanks to all who supported the recent Breast Cancer Fundraiser held in Donard. Over € 1500 was raised.
The death took place last week of Ann Kinahan (formerly Main Street, Dunlavin). Ann who was predeceased by her husband Tommy is mourned by daughters Marie, Catherine and Sinead, sons Brian, Thomas, Jason, Cornelius and Padraig, sisters and many relatives and friends. Ann’s funeral took place in Donard, may she rest in peace.

Parent and Toddler Group
Dunlavin Community Playschool’s Parent & Toddler group meet every Wednesday from 10am-12noon in the Jonathan Swift Hall behind the playschool. Cost is €3 per adult. More details contact 045/406866.

Community text alert has been launched in the Dunlavin area. Residents can sign up for €10. Forms are in Ed’s Veg shop. People are urged to be vigilant at all times and contact the Gardai if the spot anything suspicious in the area.
