Sadness at passing of GAA gentleman Tom

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tom Walsh, President of Bray Emmets who has passed away after a short illness.
All Bray members extend their deepest sympathies to Tom’s family, who has been a life-long and very active member of our club.
Funeral arrangements

Thomas (Tom) Walsh of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Waterford City  (President of Bray Emmets GAA Club and Past President of the Irish Handball Council) died on 12th January, 2015, suddenly, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Betty), devoted and much-loved father of Ciara and Emer and grandfather of Iarla; he will be sadly missed by his loving family, by Emer’s partner Massimo and by his extended family and friends, especially his many friends in the world of GAA.

Reposing at his home on Wednesday, 14th January from 12 noon with prayers at 6.00pm.  House strictly private from 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 15th January at 10.00am in the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
