Aughrim Business Association

Aughrim Business Association is currently making plans for this year’s St Patrick day parade and has been contacting people who have been supporting the parade since it was rejuvenated a few years ago. The organising committee are hopeful that 2015 will again see an increase in the number of Floats, Marching Groups and Associations taking part and to this end they are appealing to any one that has not been involved before to do so this year. Registration is necessary so that the committee can plan the layout and format the parade will take and participants can do this by getting their registration form from Neil in Aughrim Pharmacy 0867334751 and Ari at Van der Wel Garden Centre 0879202751 or any committee member. As in other years the Parade takes place immediately after 10.30 Mass.

Community Games

Athletics training continues every Monday night at 7pm and the season will be getting busy.

The local schools are busy doing their Art and Handwriting competitions which are been supported by their Principals and teachers and the committee is very appreciative of that. Our local athletic finals will take place in April in preparation for the County Wicklow finals in Shillelagh so keep up the training.
