Death
The death has taken place after a long illness of Pat Whelan, late of Sallins, Tober and Ballylaffin, Dunlavin. Pat who is predeceased by his daughter Jeanette and sister Maureen Dennis is mourned by his wife Kathleen,(nee Healy) son Colm and his fiancée Anne Marie, granddaughter Lily, aunt Sr. Margaret, Mother-in Law Kathleen Healy, brothers James, Willie, Ger, Larry and Eddie sisters Lucy Mooney, Margaret Lynott, Breda Walsh, Majella O’ Malley and Colette Byrne , brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Pat was a gentleman in every sense of the word and a true pillar of any community in which he was involved..As a Dunlavin man he was deeply involved in the GAA and was also to the forefront of the Arts Festival while he lived in the area. Pat’s efforts in rebuilding and renovating the Imaal Hall were immense and his hard work will always be remembered by the people of Dunlavin. Pat’s funeral Mass took place in the Church of Our Lady and St David in Naas on Saturday February 21st 2015, followed by burial in Dunlavin Cemetery. May Pat rest in peace.

It will feature Guest speakers, site visits and work placement, plus use of catering equipment competently and safely, customer care and development of food service skills.
