Gardai have posted pictures of defective tyres on social media from a checkpoint in Greystones.
A truck with these tyres was stopped at a multi agency checkpoint in Greystones.
3 tyres with defects. Wires showing, one as bald as a coot! & the other with chunks missing.
The vehicle was grounded and numerous Fixed Charge Penalty Notices issued.
It’s not just about being legal, it’s about being safe. Defective tyres cost lives!
