The Village Players Rathnew
The Committee of Village Players Rathnew wish to extend deepest sympathy to the Family of the late Anthony Doyle. Anthony was the founder member of Village Players and directed two of the Groups productions, “All the way back” and “My Wifes Family”. Anthony was a fine Actor himself, and was a member of Rathnews first Drama Group,St Bridgets Dramatic Society,( under the direction of the late Fr.Lavelle),and was a member of the cast that brought all Ireland medals home to Rathnew in the 50s. Our thoughts and prayers are with Betty,Kenneth,Roy,Aisling,Fergal, Breiff, Grandchildren, and extended Family. Rest in peace Anthony.
Wicklow Drama Group
This is the most heart wrenching post we have to put up for Wicklow Drama Group. Today the backbone of Wicklow Drama passed away. Anthony, our Producer for over 25 years, the laughter, the tears, the experience, the energy, the Man that was willing to try any “Play”, he would pace around the stage, he would laugh with us, act with us, socialise with us, and the most important thing, he had Drama in his heart,. Anthony, we are going to miss you so much. Rest in Peace.. Thank you for the years of wonderful Drama you have given us.xxx
