The Tullow/ Shillelagh road (R725) has been closed following a collision between a van and a car near Knockloe bridge, emergency services are at the scene and diversions are in place.
Two men were taken to Kilkenny hospital, the injuries of a woman who was a passenger in the car were described as critical.
