Community Games

A busy few weeks ahead of us. The Art and handwriting have been judged and the winners will be announced this week and the prizes presented.

Next Monday March 30th there will be a cross country in Rathdrum RFC to support Rathdrum Community Games. Registration is at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Races are from U-6 to U-14 with and entry fee of 3 Euro per child. We would hope to have as many children as possible to take part as it is so close to Aughrim.

There will be no Monday night training now till after Easter, Monday April 13th as most of the coaches will be in Rathdrum on Monday 30th March.

Our Area Athletics Finals will take place on Monday 20th April in the community field Aughrim. These are the qualifiers for Shillelagh, County Wicklow Athletic Finals on Saturday 13th June. Registration will be at 6pm. We hope all our children will participate as its a fun evening. On the same night we would hope to run off some of the field events and the boys U-12 and girls U-14 Long puck. Look forward to seeing all our athletes taking part. 

 

Support Daffodil Day!

Friday 27th March is Daffodil Day. You can be part of this Daffodil Day appeal by joining us for a Coffee Morning in the Courthouse Arts Centre, Tinahely, on Friday 27th March 10 a.m – 1 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

 

Gaa Lotto

Results for March 16. No jackpot winner. Numbers drawn 4-5-17-20. Match 3 winners Aisling O’Reilly,Toberpatrick; Jimmy O’Neill, Killacloran. Jackpot stands at €11.050 euro. Draw held in Saltee on Monday night.

 

45 Card Game

45 card game on next Friday night, March 27 , in Annacurra Community Centre,

starting at 8-30pm.

Gaa

Annacurra Gaa club are holding a Mouse Race night on Saturday March 28 in The Saltee at 8pm. This race night will feature real live Mice, Prize money €250 euro.

You can buy your mouse or mice from players or any committee member. Raffle also on the night.

 

Camogie

Be a champion, play Camogie.

Annacurra camogie club will hold their registration for existing and new players on Saturday   March 28 in Annacurra Gaa grounds from 11am until 12pm. Whist Drive

There will be a whist drive in Annacurra Community Centre on Saturday night next January 28. starting at 9pm
