Tonight

Cold tonight with further wintry showers, parts of the west and north will be most at risk with some accumulations possible. Elsewhere in the country there will be showers, but they will tend to be more scattered. Lows of -2 to 1 degrees with frost and icy patches developing. Staying windy with fresh westerly winds.

Tomorrow

Frost and ice will clear in the morning, to give a cold and bright day. There will be more showers tomorrow of rain, sleet and snow at first in the west during the morning, before spreading eastwards during the afternoon. Again, some of the showers will be thundery. Highs of only 3 to 6 degrees in fresh and gusty southwesterly winds.
