The Arklow Darkness Into Light 5K Charity Run/Walk takes place at 4.15am on Saturday morning 9th of May 2015.
NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS WHO LIVE ALONG THE ROUTE…. If you see or hear a very large group of people in bright yellow t shirts passing your house in the early hours of Saturday morning, please do not panic smile emoticon It’s simply the community of Arklow coming together to support this great fundraiser.
Feel free to cheer them on, they are all well behaved they will pass in a few minutes.
Thanks in advance for your understanding. Please pass this on to anyone you know that lives along the route, particularly the elderly and/or people living on their own. Thanks, Oisin.
Weather forecast for the morning…. Rain will die out early tonight and cloud will break as the night goes on. Winds will decrease light, northwest to west, and temperatures will fall to between 3 and 5 degrees Celsius with slight grass frost in sheltered places.
