Gardai in Ashford are in investigating an armed robbery on Monday night.
It is understood four masked men armed with a shot gun tied up a man and robbed his employer when he arrived home from the local Wicklow Heather restaurant he runs in Laragh.
His wife who returned home noticed a number of men in the house and alerted the Gardai.
The man was threatened with a shot gun and the raiders demanded money, they got away with small amount of cash and a mobile phone.
