This weekend on Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st of May is your opportunity to have a go at sailing in the fabulous amenity that is Wicklow Harbour and Bay.
Wicklow Sailing Club have an open weekend and whether you are seven or seventy and not counting you can try dinghy sailing in the company of an experience sailor on Saturday or if you prefer to keep your feet dry, try cruiser sailing on Sunday with an experienced skipper at the helm (driving).
It’s free of charge starting at 2.00pm, all you need for dinghy sailing is a wetsuit, footwear that can get wet and a buoyancy aid if you have one. For cruiser sailing on Sunday a pair of non-marking rubber soled shoes and appropriate clothing for whatever the weather has to offer on the day.
