Arklow man sets new Irish track cycle record

John Lynch who is a member of the Arklow cycling club S.E.R.C set an Irish track record on Saturday at Sundrive outdoor Velodrome in Dublin. John and his Derny pilot, Liam Walker, set an hour record of 51.426kms .

This is the first time a record of this kind has been attempted in Ireland. (This was a paced hour record behind the Derny motorbike.)
