BWFC appoint U19 & U17 managers

Managerial announcements u19 & u17:Bray-Wanderers-Crest-640x360
Bray Wanderers FC are delighted to announce the names of the managers who will lead our youth teams forward for the coming season. As a club we believe that developing our youth structure is vital to the future of this great club. The introduction of the new u17 league will provide us with the time needed to develop players, progress them onto u19 level with the ultimate goal to introduce them to the senior squad in the coming years.

We are delighted to welcome back Maciej Tarnogrodzki as manager of the u19 squad for the coming season. Maciej is already well known to Bray fans having been manager of the u19 squad in seasons gone by while also stepping up to the first team this season as caretaker manager.

2015 will also see the introduction of the u17 national league in which the seagulls are placed into section 1 alongside UCD, Cobh Ramblers, Limerick, Waterford, Wexford Youths & Cabinteely. We are delighted to announce that we have secured the services of Graham Kelly as our u17 manager.
Graham will bring a wealth of experience to the club. Graham is a UEFA ‘A’ licensed coach who was voted FAI Coach of the Year for 2013.
Graham has been a coach at St Joseph’s boys for the past 21 years. Last season saw him working as Head Coach to the Under 16 Premier team at St Joseph’s and also as the club’s Technical Analyst.

He was appointed Head Coach to the 1991 DDSL Squad in 2004 and took charge of the DDSL squad for 3 seasons.
He returned to the DDSL set up in August 2011 to coach the league’s U-13 Squad for the next 2 seasons in preparation to compete in the Kennedy Cup 2013. Graham’s squad successfully won the Kennedy Cup scoring 24 goals and conceding 0.

In July 2013 he received the Noel O Reilly FAI Coach of the Year award, this was on the back of successfully completing his UEFA ‘A’ Licence, winning the Kennedy Cup without conceding a goal and also 7 player’s from his team at St Joseph’s Boys receiving international caps.
Over the years Graham has worked with and oversaw the development of players such as, Paddy Kavanagh (Bohemian’s), Danny Earls (Colorado Rapids), Alan Judge (Brentford) Jay O’Shea (Chesterfield), Jake Kelly (Dundalk), Gavin Gunning (Dundee Utd), Dan Casey (Sunderland).
We have no doubt that Graham will bring a wealth of experience to the club and to our u17 squad.
