U12s footballers had a great win on Monday 12th they played there near neighbours Annacurra in a very sporting game and came away winners with a score of 4.05 to 4 the game was very close in the 1st half but a goal just before half time put Aughrim in the driving seat for the second half.

Well done lads, great win. U8s&U10s Go Games Football Blitz was up in Knockananna. Well done to all the kids who took part in the under 8s and under 10s football blitz with all our teams putting in a lot of hard work, doing very well for themselves. l would like to thank Knockananna for there welcome and support great blitz.
A great number of boys and girls took part in the Cul Camps this year in Aughrim, well done to everyone involved back to normal training this week.
Congratulations to our Senior team on their great win against St. Bodens in Roundwood last Friday night in the Senior Football Championship. This was a very tight game and we showed great heart and determination to come from being 4 points down with eight minutes to go to emerge winners by 2 points on a final score line of 1-14 to 1-12. Great credit must go to all involved for their commitment and heart in carving out this victory. Our Junior footballers are in action next Saturday evening against Enniskerry in the next round of the Junior ‘C’ championship. Please come along and support the lads in this crucial game.
The numbers: 11, 21, 23 and 26 were drawn in the Sports club lotto on Monday July 20th Match. Match three winner was: Eithne. There was no jackpot winner. The jackpot is €2400.
