Michael Dwyer Pipe Band

The Annual General Meeting of the Michael Dwyer Pipe Band will take place on Saturday 18th July 2015 in the Band Hall at 8pm. Any and all persons interested in the activities of the local Pipe Band are welcome to attend. Present and possible future members are openly welcomed.

A wide selection of local artisan produce including home baking, farm fresh free range eggs, meat & vegetables, pates & frittatas, new season jams & chutneys and lots more. GAA News

Congratulations to our Junior C football team who won their first round match in the Junior C Championship against Annacurra last week on a scoreline of 3-7 to 1-6.  Our Senior football team had a good win over Ballinacor recently in the Division 2 League. Our next Senior match in this league is Tuesday July 14th against Rathnew away.  Congratulations to John Keenan on refereeing the All Ireland Hurling Qualifier between Clare and Offaly on Saturday last.

Annual Fete

Annual Fete will be held in the grounds of Ballinatone Church on Saturday the July 18th at Afternoon teas, bottle stall   Bric a brac and more. Your support will be much appreciated.

Wicklow Macra Needs You

Art Camp and Activity Camp

Come join our Two Exciting Camps not to be missed.  Venue: Aughrim community hall, Date: July13th-17th,, Age group: 4-12, Time: 9.30-12 (Art Camp) 12-2 (Activity Camp).  Art in the morning (Stop Motion Animation, Sugar Craft, Design/Paint your own fairy door & lots more, with art competition on the last day).  Activity camp in the afternoon (Introduction to Tae-Kwon-Do, circuit training & lots more.  Demonstration & Competition to be held on the last day, with medals & certs.  Join us for the Art Camp or Activity camp only or both.  Over 14yrs experience delivering Art Camps to the community & over 20years Tae-Kwon-Do experience.  For Booking Contact: Trish Murphy (087)6390370 or Doreen Byrne (086)1631271 for further information.


The numbers: 3, 6, 15 and 16 were drawn in the Sports club lotto on Monday June 29th.  Match three winners were: Cian & Josh Keogh, Ann Hughes, Ann O’Shea, Derek Mary, Martin Burke, Brigid Mulkern and Lar & Anne O’Brien.  The jackpot is €1950.
