Outlook for today
Heavy rain and drizzle will continue to affect parts of Ulster and the north of Leinster for a time this afternoon. Elsewhere in the country a clearance to brighter weather and scattered showers will develop and some of those showers will be heavy. Highs today of only 13 to 15 degrees in northern areas, but it will be milder for the rest of the country with highs of 15 to 19 degrees. Fresh to strong southeast winds will veer southwest in the clearance.
