View of Wales from Arklow

This Panoramic photograph was sent in by Wicklownews reader Philip Sharpe, taken from Ballyfad, south of Arklow last Tuesday evening just before sunset.

In the foreground is Arklow town on the left and the foot of the Arklow Rock on the right, then the Arklow bank leading out to the windmills in the background is the hills of Wales.

The picture was taken with a Canon 7d using a 600mm lens, then stitched together in Photoshop.

Update… We have received a couple more pictures also taken this week one taken by Iain Fisher from Wicklow town and Neill Harris from Arklow (Smart Cartridge, for those who know him or need ink or a computer repaired)
