Wicklow U-14 Camogie team pick up first trophy of the season

Wicklow U14 Camogie Development squad players travelled to an Inter County Blitz held in Carlow Town Hurling Club and hosted by the Carlow County Board on Saturday and picked up their first Trophy of the Year. These girls showed their talent and determination playing their hearts out. Their efforts all proved worthwhile when it came to their Final.
In a fantastic come back they snatched the trophy with a goal scored in the dying seconds of the game!
Congratulations to all involved – these girls have made significant progress over the past few months.
Currently  training with vastly experienced inter County Coach Niall Williams – anybody who has attended his recent sessions has benefitted greatly.  Training continues in the Centre of Excellence in Ballinakill on Thursday evening until September. Wicklow will host a Blitz in Ballinakill on Saturday August 8th.
Parents of any U14/U13 Camogie players out there who missed the chance to join the squad at the beginning of the season and would like to be involved can contact Development Officer Breda at 0876998536 or email developmentofficer.wicklow.camogie@gaa.ie
