Annacurra notes October 19

Community Games

Our AGM took place last Thursday evening in the complex in Aughrim. A poor turnout, I think people were afraid to come and see what we are all about!!!! But a committee was formed and as follows.

Chairperson: Michael Duffy. Secretary: Fiona Shannon. Treasurer: Majella O’Shea and committee members Tara Lyons, Aine Lally, Caoimhe Byrne. Pat Lalor stood down and we would like to thank him for all his hard work with coaching and support over the last few years. New events were discussed and information of them will follow.

Our athletics training is going well every Monday evening at 7pm. We will be taking the mid term off and are back on Monday 2nd November. Have a great week off and enjoy your “trick and treating”. Be Safe.
