Flooding is being reported from all over the county. Fire services in Arklow are pumping out water from residential areas.
Flooding is taking place on all approaches to the town. The Lower Main Street and South Green are flooded. Fairgreen has been closed to traffic.
The Wexford road at Servier and the Kish roundabouts are also flooded.
Flooding on the Dublin road at Sean Behan’s and the Topaz garage.
In Rathnew the road to Wicklow at the graveyard is flooded. Traffic is backed up in both directions. It is understood the river has burst its banks in Ashford.
Glenealy Rathnew road flooded extremely dangerous at Ballymerrigan and Moorhouse corner. Single lane traffic.

Coast road from Brittas Bat to Arklow flooded, roundabouts a Jack Whites also flooded.
Homes in the Avoca, Avondale and Rathdrum are without electricity, it is estimated to back on at around 6pm.
People are reminded to be aware of drains that are in flood and may have no covers.
