AA survey reveals Wicklow is the most expensive county to buy diesel

Gareth Farrell of East Coast FM reports a survey by the AA shows Wicklow is the most expensive county for diesel, at an average price of €1.16 per litre, 5 cent above the national average.

Donegal is the most expensive county for petrol with an average of €1.28 per litre, with Wicklow third most expensive for Petrol at an average of €1.27.

The survey found a number of individual garages in the border county are charging the highest in the Republic for petrol at €1.31.9 for a litre.

The AA says Mayo and Roscommon are the cheapest counties to fill a diesel car, with an average of €1.06.5.
