Fianna Fáil’s National Constituencies Committee has confirmed the addition of Pauric Hyland to the ticket in the Wicklow constituency for the forthcoming General Election.
Pauric is a native of Arklow and is currently living in the town with his wife and five young children. He is a solicitor by profession and is a long-time member of local sporting organisations such as Arklow Town Football Club. His brother Ciarán is a member of the Wicklow senior Gaelic football team. His grandfather Tom was a founding member of the Fianna Fáil Cumann in Arklow.
Pauric will join Cllr Pat Casey and Cllr Jennifer Cuffe on the ticket.
Chairman of the National Constituencies Committee, Michael Moynihan TD, commented, “Our election ticket in Wicklow is now complete following the addition of Pauric Hyland. He will work alongside Cllr Pat Casey and Cllr Jennifer Cuffe in the coming weeks to maximise the party’s vote in Wicklow.
“Fianna Fáil is confident that we have a strong ticket in Wicklow and that we are best placed to maximise the party’s representation in the next Dáil. I know that together, Pat, Jennifer and Pauric will run a highly energetic and formidable campaign and provide excellent representation for the people of Wicklow.”
