2016 ENROLMENT – SCOIL CHAOIMHÍN NAOFA
Enrolment will take place on Mon. 25th , Wed 27th, Fri 29th January 2016 between 9.30am and 3.30pm for parents who wish to enrol their child/children for September 2016. Enrolment forms will be available in the Office from January 18th during office hours.
A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate must be furnished. Where a child has been baptised outside the Parish (Hollywood/Ballymore Eustace) a copy of their Baptismal Certificate must also be furnished. PPS numbers are also required.
Strictly Come Dancing
Table Quiz
As part of their fundraising for Hollywood GAA Strictly Come Dancing, a number of the dancers are running a Table Quiz in Tutty’s on Fri 29 Jan @ 9pm. All support greatly appreciated.
Rehearsals are in full swing for Hollywood GAA’s Strictly Come Dancing night which will take place in St. Laurence’s GAA Club on the 20th of February. Tickets for the event are available from the dancers for what promises to be a great night. All of the dancers are profiled on Facebook.
Hollywood NoName Club Homeless Appeal
The Hollywood NoName Club are doing a collection for the Homeless from the 9th January until the 24th January. The Club will have 2 collection points, The Hollywood Centre & St Kevin’s Church. We will be looking for unwanted Christmas Gifts, small items of toiletries (e.g. soap, shampoo, deodorant, wet wipes, face cloths, hand towels, etc), scarves, hats, gloves, socks, sleeping bags, clothes (in good condition), thermal underwear (must be new) non- perishable foods (tins/packets etc), chocolate, puzzle books, or anything you think that would be suitable
Any Financial donations will be used to buy some of the above items.

Hollywood Fair A G M Saturday 30th January @7pm.After A Special Mass at 6pm. For all deceased Family, Friends and Supporters of The Hollywood Fair. All most welcome to attend, Meeting Hollywood Centre at 7pm.
Sincere thanks to No Name Club, The Choir and Santa, The Hollywood Inn and all who helped and all who attended The Live Nativity. It was a wonderful event and most enjoyable. Preparations are in hand for next year’s Fair. The Theme “1916” THE RISING” Fashion and Dress code to coincide with The Style of that era

Hollywood Tidy Towns
Under the community involvement section in the National Competition, we have decided to publish a ‘Community Newsletter’ for inclusion in our annual plan. Initially it will be printed monthly with the hope of it being published fortnightly when established. Community based ‘news’ will be included free of charge and private/business ‘news’ will be charged a small fee to help with the cost of printing, any donations (if desired) towards the costs would be appreciated. Our first issue will be available on Sat 6th Feb, items for inclusion can be emailed to ‘hollywoodnews16@gmail.com’ before the deadline of 6pm Thurs 4th Feb, no exceptions. Work mornings every Saturday meet at Church Car Park 10am. Help always needed. “Many hands make light work ” Our work schedule is somewhat behind due to the very wet weather.
We have two jackpots – €3,000 and €4,750 to play for each week.
