Van Der Flier makes Ireland squad for Six Nations

Wicklow Rugby Club send their congratulations to Josh Van Der Flier on his selection in the Ireland Rugby Squad for the Six Nations. 21 year old Josh is the first former Wicklow RFC player to receive the honor. Josh’s dad Dirk played for the club in the 80s and 90s and was known as one of the hardest tacklers the club has ever seen. Josh and his brother Johan played mini rugby in Wicklow before going to secondary school in Wesley College.

He was a guest at the WRFC Summer camp in August 2015 and was a huge hit with the kids.

From everyone in WRFC Josh congratulations and best of luck. We are very proud of you. Hopefully you will be the first of many more to come.
