Wicklow Rapid Response call for help to replace Kimacanogue defibrillator

Gardai are investigating a fire at Kilmacanogue GAA club, where a defibrillator which was recently installed was destroyed.

The lifesaving  equipment cost in the region of 2,500.

It is the third time a defibrillator has been vandalised in the county following incidents in Arklow and Blessington.

Anyone with information please contact Bray Gardai at (01) 666 5300

Last week Bray Cardiac First Responders were involved in a successful resuscitation of a young patient.

To support Kilmacanogue Community First Responders after the loss of one of their defibrillators in a fire at the weekend, all donations received this week by the Wicklow Rapid Response will go directly towards a new AED.

You can donate €4 by texting RAPID to 50300.
