Community Games
It’s a busy few weeks with community games. The local art and handwriting competition has been judged locally and the winners are gone forward to the next round and the county Wicklow finalists will be notified in May.
We will have our badminton , girls soccer and tag rugby teams competing over the next few weeks.
Next weekend is the county U 14 quiz in Hollywood on Saturday evening and the county talent competition in Hollywood on Sunday afternoon in Hollywood too. Parish Mission
We  invite you to participate in our Parish Mission from Monday 25th  to Friday 29th April next in St. Kevin’s Church, Kilaveney, Tinahely.  Our Parish Mission  is for everyone and people of all ages.  Members of Parishes in the surrounding areas are welcome to join us during these special days.
There will be Masses daily Monday to Thursday at 9.30 a.m, and evening sessions from Monday to Thursday at 7.30p.m.  The Mission will conclude  on Friday evening with Mass at 7.30 p.m.  Each  day has a different theme with talks, prayers, benediction and  music.
This Mission will be presented by St. Patrick’s Community which is a group of  laypeople who are based in Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim.  All are welcome.
45 Card Game
The 45 Card games is on Friday night next April  22 starting at 8-30pm, in The Saltee.
Whist Drive
There will be a whist drive in Annacurra Community Centre on Saturday night next   April 23 starting at 9pm

Results for April 11 . No Jackpot winner . Numbers drawn  1-10-22-28.  Match 3 winners. Anna Carey, Clone; Billy Keogh c/o of John Doyle; Martin O’Brien, Aughrim; Gerry  Doyle, Coolahullen; Mary Burke, Avoca; Breda O’Neill, Kallacloran; Geraldine O’Neill, Killacloran and Killian Rheinisch, Tinahely . Prize money next week €8500 euro. Draw held in the Saltee on Monday night.
Opening times for Aughrim Library are as follows Tuesday 3-5 Wednesday 3-5 and 6-60 until 8-30 Friday 11-1 and 3-5 Saturday 2-4. Membership free. Photocopying available. Closed on Saturday of Bank Holiday weekends.
