Cyclists are being warned to be cautious on bicycle trails after it emerged booby traps had been set up on a popular trail in Delgany.
A cyclist posted pictures on social media of the sinister traps last week after finding them on the trail at Downs hill, Willow Grove.
The traps had appeared over a period, starting of with stones and large sticks but on Saturday the 16th of April a stand of barbed wire was place across the track at neck height.
The trail at Willow Grove is not an official mountain bike trail but is used frequently by local riders.
