Castlemacadam Parish Sale

This will take place on Saturday 21st May at 2pm in the Hartin Hall.  There will be good value in household goods, cakes and home produce, fruit and vegetables, shrubs, plants and other assorted items.  There will be teas and a number of raffles.


Avoca Courthouse Heritage Centre

We send our best wishes to Avoca Men’s shed as they take up residence in their new home at Woodenbridge – it’s been great to be able to facilitate you all providing the courthouse as a start-up premises & thank you for all the repairs & help – onwards & upwards, look forward to hearing of your continued success.

Avoca Tidy Towns & Community Courthouse

We are delighted to receive notification that we are to be the recipients of Community Grants from Wicklow Co Council to the value of €2500.00 – €500 for external repairs to Avoca Courthouse Heritage Centre, €500 for seating along the Red Kite Walk & €1500.00 towards new signage on approach roads to the village. We are grateful to Wicklow Co Council for their support in acknowledgement of the voluntary work & contributions by the community.
