Two Greystones girls, Ciara McMichael and Sinéad Ryan, are cutting their hair on 23rd June to donate to The Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children with cancer across the UK and Ireland.
Ciara and Sinéad are looking for sponsorship for this and in addition holding a quiz night in The Hot Spot (Over the Beach House) and all donations will go to Greystones Cancer Support.
They are doing this in honour of May Talbot R.I.P, a dear family friend and who was well loved as a local childminder in Greystones. May sadly passed away 30th June 2014 as a result of cancer. A lot of local Greystonians may remember her crèche and playschool called Happy Days in Redford Park.
Greystones Cancer Support were so good to May while she was sick. Ciara and Sinead want to raise awareness and funding for this amazing organisation so they can continue their great work.
If anyone would like to donate you can do so on their iDonate page or by donating directly to Greystones Cancer Support. If people aren’t in a position to donate please like and share to help promote this wonderful cause. Also they are looking for spot prizes for the quiz. Any help would be very much appreciated!
