Brennans Family Pan recalled

As a precautionary measure, Brennans Bakeries is undertaking a recall of the Brennans Family Pan 800g Best Before Date 20 May 16 Code 18, which may contain small pieces of laminated paper.

There is no risk to consumers who may have already consumed the product. However, given Brennans’ high standards of food safety, taste and quality, the company is taking the step of recalling the product. Only Brennans Family Pan 800g with this date code are affected, no other Brennans products are involved.

Any potentially affected packs have already been removed from the supermarket shelves.

Advertisements alerting consumers to the product recall will be placed in the press. The company has advised the retail trade and appropriate regulatory authorities.

Anyone in possession of Brennans Family Pan 800g Best Before Date 20 May Code 18 can, if they wish, return the product to their local retailer for a refund. Or they can send the empty packaging with their name and address for a full refund to: Joseph Brennan Bakeries, Greenhills Industrial Estate, Walkinstown, Dublin 12.
