Gardai are renewing their appeal for information into the disappearance of a man in Maynooth last month.

35-year-old Marcin Michalak, a Polish national, was last seen at a supermarket in the town on April  17.

Gardai subsequently found his car, a Grey Mazda 6 car with the registration 04 WX 203, close to a forest area and trails at Luggala during a routine patrol.

Members of the investigation team are planning to question people at Luggala on Sunday in the hope that somebody may have seen where he went after leaving his car.

Mr Michalak, who is described as being  5 foot 9 in height, of strong build and with a tight hair cut and a partial beard was last seen wearing blue jeans, black hoodie top with red writing on it and beige walking shoes.
