Good luck to former Glenealy girls Megan and Carrie Randle, the twins who are members of the Presentation Kilkenny Secondary School Choir set off on another crusade today.

Speaking to Wicklownews their mother Suzanne said “It is exciting times and we really need the country to get behind them, what is happening is amazing and they are going from strength to strength. I am so proud of them”.

Presentation Kilkenny Secondary School Choir, supported by Allianz today left for the UK to appear on the semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent, today, Thursday, May 26th.

The semi-final is set to be watched by over 12 million people in the UK and Ireland and sees the Choir compete for a place in the finals against some very strong competition. However, the choir under the direction of Choir Director, Veronica McCarron have seen the odds narrow to 50:1 to win by bookmakers Paddy Power.

Due to the rules set by Britain’s Got Talent, the choir cannot disclose what song they will perform on the night but promise it will be breathtaking.
