AVOCA TIDY TOWNS

Judging is now underway for the National Tidy Towns Awards, to help reduce our carbon footprint & to have money to spend on projects in the village & surrounds we have parked up our van this year, we are very grateful to the CE worker who is using his personal transport for the lawnmower & the volunteers who are also using their own transport to ensure our flowers are all watered each evening, also the volunteer who provides the water, volunteers have also been active this week working on the Old Courthouse Heritage Centre, you too can help by bringing your chips bags, drink cans  sweet papers etc home for recycling,  pick up any litter you may come across & be sure to bring a pooper scooper when out walking with your dog, it’s all about having a litter free clean area to live in, a village we can all be proud to call home.

AVOCA COURTHOUSE HERITAGE CENTRE

We are delighted to say that the vacant  CE posts in the Old Court House Heritage Centre have been filled & the Centre will be back to full opening hours 9-5 Mon-Fri including lunch time very soon. Thank you all for your patience & support. Thanks to Amanda who has kept everything going this past  few weeks.
