August Bank Holiday Monday,  1 August,  Burnaby Park,  11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Fun for all the Family.

Train,  Bouncy Castles,  Golf,  Carousel,  Bungee Trampoline,  Climbing Wall,  Games.

Food,  Music and much much more.

 

Help needed with:

          Tents,  gazebos.

          Volunteers to monitor the events.

          Craft people for stalls.

          Musicians/entertainers for the gig rig.

Bring your booklist with you.

Primary school books through to third level school books now on sale.

Very reasonable prices.

 

Old school books wanted urgently.

Recycling Centre only has books that are donated.

Any type of school book or text book for reuse or recycling,  including college text books.

It doesn’t matter how old or in what condition.

Unsuitable items will be recycled.

 

Also wanted:  copies,  workbooks and college notes.

Please separate these from books.

 

Good condition loose leaf folders for reuse also accepted.

GREYSTONES 1916 MEMORIAL GARDEN NOW OPEN

Opening ceremony was held Tuesday,  28 June, 2016.

Garden is located in Burnaby Park on the Mill Road.

Garden is beautifully laid out with a flag pole.

Commemoration stone with Proclamation in both Irish and English.

Seven new trees have been planted,  one for each signatory of the Proclamation.

Why not visit this new iconic landmark in our town ??
