AGB U14 Boys travelled to Blessington GAA Club last Wednesday evening in a magnificent contest between two evenly matched teams that gave it everything. While the final result was a 5-5 to 3-11 draw, there were winners all over the field. Each AGB player showed huge poise and ability in a game of tough tackling, pace and precision. This is the start of what promises to be a very strong finish to the U14 season.
AGBs Intermediate Team played Kilmacanogue on Saturday evening in Pearses’ Park and finished with a final score of AGB 2-14 to Kilmac 1-11. A solid team performance provided for a win in a tough match against a strong Kilmacanogue side. AGB pulled together from the start of the match right through to the end, and fought a tough battle in the second half to keep Kilmacanagoue at bay. This win has moved AGB to the top of the table in the Campus Oil Division 2 League, and is the start of what promises to be an exciting team to watch in the Championship.
