Carnew notes week August 1st

Tinahely Walking Club

On Sunday August 7 the walk is at Mullaghcleevaun (Grade A, 20k, 6 hours). Meeting in Tinahely at 9.00 or Lynhams of Laragh at 9.30. On Sunday August 14 the walk is at Lowbawn (Grade B+, 14k, 4 hours). Meeting in Tinahely at 10.00. Please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear.

10th & 24th August Manual Handling 7pm €45pp

13th August  Basic First Aid (incl. Paediatric 1st Aid & Occupational 1st Aid refresher) €65 1 day course

15th-20th August Basic Chainsaw Course (CS 30 & CS 31) €800.00pp  City & Guilds/Lantra 6 day course

20th August SafePass €95 1 day course

29th-31st August Occasional Use of Chainsaw €350 Lantra 3 day course – covers safety, maintenance and cross-cutting. Ideal for insurance purposes.

Sept/ Oct Handheld and Boom Sprayer Application courses.

ECDL, Sign Language, Book-Keeping and Payroll are open for bookings commencing September.

**NEW** Training  and Development Special purpose award QQI level 6 – replaces old “Train the Trainer”
