Gardai in Rathdrum are appealing for information following a spate of break-ins in the town recently.
A number of cars have been broken into in Parnell Park housing estate over the last few nights and it is understood that a sum of money was taken from one of the cars.
A car was also broken into on the main street in the town on Tuesday night and a child’s bag and coat, along with a small sum of money was taken.
There has also been numerous reports of burglaries in the town in recent weeks including one that was broken into on the outskirts of the town last week.
