Hollywood Fair Vintage Fashion Show 2016
Saturday 16th of July will see the official launch of The Hollywood Fair at the fabulous Hollywood Vintage Fashion Show in the Hollywood Community Centre, Hollywood Co Wicklow, starting at 7.30pm. The Fashion Show is the first event for the Hollywood Fair Festival which starts on Thursday the 18th August to the Fair Day on the 21st of August. This is the perfect setting in which to launch the Hollywood Fair. The vintage fashion show will have an extensive array of lovely day, afternoon and evening ware on show, all ideal for the Hollywood Fair, this year we have included a selection of 1916 outfits.
The evening’s interval will be filled with entertainment provided by the No-name Club along with individual acts. This will be followed by our delightful tea and cake reception and going on last year’s comments this is something not to be missed. There will be a raffle with some fabulous prizes and a free door raffle on entry.
If you are interest in purchasing any of the items modelled, we will supply the details of the shops on the night. Entry is €10 per person this will include a delicious cheese and wine reception after the show.
We are looking forward to seeing you all on the 16th of July and remember come early to get a front row seat.
Work nights have commenced every Thursday from 7.30pm. All most welcome. If you have any time to spare we would greatly appreciate seeing you. The more the merrier! It’s only 6 weeks to The Fair!!!.
Get out now and buy your “flat cap, as we are having a Flat Cap Competition at The Fair. We are competing to beat The World Record. So hurry and buy that cap (men, women and children) Should generate some fun,
Stall Holders: Anyone interested in taking a stall should immediately down load application form From The Hollywood Fair site immediately , as spaces are going fast. The Church of Ireland: Will be the venue for an Art Exhibition, more details later.

Hollywood Tidy Towns
Are working tirelessly to have Hollywood well presented for The Judging of The Tidy Towns,(Judging in next few weeks) we’re asking anyone with an hour to spare to come out and give us a hand. All help is welcome and greatly appreciated, as this is our busiest time and we need all hands on deck to get the village looking it’s best.
Work nights are Wednesdays only starting at 7pm. New Faces always welcome.
Concert in Hollywood

Hollywood GAA

A great week was had by all at Hollywood GAA Cúl Camp. Thank you to all the children, their parents, the coaches and everyone who helped organise the event. Well done to Hannah Burke Girl of the Camp and Oscar Cawley Boy of the Camp.
The Annual Hollywood Sports Day was held last Sunday 10th of July. There was a great turnout despite the weather. The winners of the raffle prizes were 1st prize Conal Kelleher Dublin c/o Margaret Clarke, 2nd prize Karen & Alan Mooney Lemonstown, 3rd Prize Frank Griffin Hollywood, 4th Prize Noel Clarke USA. Adult Jive Classes
Adult Jive Classes every Saturday in modern Jive dance. Professional teachers will teach you all the moves, that will make your friends envious. The time is between 3-5pm and both singles & couples are welcome.
