A woman who denies murdering her colleague in Aklow told gardaí she was afraid of him because he used to follow her and wait outside her home.
Marta Herda of Pairc na Saile, Emoclew Road in Arklow is accused of deliberately driving them off the South Quay harbour on March 26th 2013.
The court heard today that during an assessment in hospital, Csaba Orsas had been hurting her while in the car and told Marta Herda he didn’t think she would do it (Drive into the dock).
The court also heard the two had worked together but were never in a relationship, the accused told the court he would phone and text her 24/7 and stand outside her home at Pairc na Saile watching her through the bedroom window.
On the morning in question he got into her car and starting feeling her leg and told her to drive.
While they were parked on the quay in Arklow she thought he was going to make her have sex with him so she hit the accelerator and drove into the water because she said she couldn’t take it anymore.
