Sympathy

Sympathy is extended to the family of Mairi Deegan, Loughmogue, who passed away last week. Mairi who fought a long battle with cancer is mourned by her husband Thomas, son Conor, daughter Caroline, son-in law Nebil, daughter-in-law Nicola, sisters Joan and Joyce, brother Tony, grandchildren Eamonn, Sarah, Adhamh and Tom, and many relaatives and friends. Mairi was cremated on Thursday August 18th 2016. A memorial service for Mairi took place in Camphill Community Hall, Grangebeg on Sunday August 21st 2016. May Mairi rest in peace.

 

Research Participants – are needed to take part in a health research study in the School of Psychology in Trinity College. The volunteers should be over the age of 60. Further details are available on the Church notice board.

 

Course

St. Kevin’s Community College, Dunlavin – will hold Office Skills Modules, (QQI Level 4) on Monday evenings 7-9.30 pm, from Sept 12th.  This year’s Flower and Harvest Festival will take place the weekend beginning Friday, 4th November.

Dunlavin Scout Group

Cancer Support

The Irish Cancer Society’s – is currently seeking volunteer drivers from Co. Wicklow to drive local patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in Dublin hospitals. Driver expenses are paid. If you’re interested, please telephone Rebecca on 01/2316642 or email transport@irishcancer.ie
