Sympathy

Sympathy is extended to the Roddy family, Lemonstown on the recent death of Dan Roddy. Dan’s funeral took place in Dublin last week. May Dan rest in peace.

Our Lady’s Island Closing Pilgrimage – to Co. Wexford will take place on Thursday, 8th September. Bus leaving Centra Dunlavin at 4.30p.m. Contact Mary on 0876619545 for more information. 

 

Trip to Knock – A bus will be organised for a trip to Knock on 10th Sept if sufficient numbers are interested.  Please contact 085 1923152 before the 3rd of September. The bus ticket will cost €10.

Home Instead Senior Care – is running a Free Dementia Workshop in McAuley Place, Naas on Wednesday 14th September from 7 – 9pm. Further information is available on the Church notice board.

 

Beginner/Improver Computer Course – one morning a week in St. Kevin’s, run by the Blessington Further Education Centre. Open to adults who didn’t complete their formal schooling. For further details, contact Annette 0868462771 or Caroline 045451494.

 

Good Wishes

Good wishes go to Helen Kearney as she sets of to Rio to participate in the Para Olympics next week. Helen will compete in the Equestrian Dressage Competition.

Sympathy

Sympathy is extended to the family of  Pam Armitage, Grangebeg, who died on August 20th 2016. Pam was the daughter of the late Raymond and Frances Armitage. Pam who was predeceased by her sister Helen is mourned by her sister Heather, brothers Crawford, Roy and David and many relatives and friends. Pam’s funeral took place in Brannockstown Baptist Church. May Pam rest in peace.

 

Research Participants – are needed to take part in a health research study in the School of Psychology in Trinity College. The volunteers should be over the age of 60. Further details are available on the Church notice board.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Dr. Mary Kearney on her retirement after 35 years of practice in Dunlavin, may she have many happy years of retirement.

Course

St. Kevin’s Community College, Dunlavin – will hold Office Skills Modules, (QQI Level 4) on Monday evenings 7-9.30 pm, from Sept 12th. DUNLAVIN SCOUT GROUP

Cancer Support
