Congratulations

Congratulations to Mary Healy , Tober , Dunlavin on receiving a Rugby Scholarship to America, Mary who is the eldest daughter of Paula and Henry , Tober will leave for St. Louis next weekend.  Best wishes go with Mary.

Death

The death took place last week of Gretta Conroy.

Beloved wife of the late Matt, deeply regretted by her loving children, Jim, Bernadette, Margaret, Sean, and Mary, brothers Kevin and Art, grandchildren, Kellyanne, James, Bríd, Mary, Sean, Catherine, Niall, Valerie, and Emma, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Pat and Liam, sister-in-law Trish, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Gretta’s funeral Mass took place in Dunlavin on Sunday August 7th 2016 followed by burial in Gormanstown cemetery. May Gretta rest in peace.

Dunlavin Inn Golf Society

The winners of the recent outing to Newbridge Golf Club were 1st Johnny Willis 2nd Anthony Deering, Front 9 David Corrigan, Back 9 Mark Rigney. Matchplay semi finals Niall Dunne v Paul Kirby, Johnny Willis V Andrew Dunne. Next outing August 20th to The Heritage Golf Club. Visitors welcome.

Research Participants – are needed to take part in a health research study in the School of Psychology in Trinity College. The volunteers should be over the age of 60. Further details are available on the Church notice board.

Course

St. Kevin’s Community College, Dunlavin – will hold Office Skills Modules, (QQI Level 4) on Monday evenings 7-9.30 pm, from Sept 12th. For further information, call Blessington Further Education Centre on 045 891099 and ask for Anne McGrath or Irene Hayden.  *Please note centre is closed 1st–12th August.

Willie Walk

Camogie Camp

DUNLAVIN SCOUT GROUP

Cancer Support
