NEW FREE STOP SMOKING COURSE AT GREYSTONES CANCER SUPPORT

Starting Monday,  19 September,  7:30 pm for six Mondays.

Greystones Cancer Support,  La  Touche Place

Greystones Cancer Support considers cancer prevention as part of its remit.

GCS recognises that tobacco is the leading cause of preventable deaths.

Stop Smoking Courses are held by GCS on a regular basis.

A new course is starting Monday,  19 September, 2016 at 7:30 pm.

The course will run for six Mondays at Greystones Cancer Support.

Facilitated,  as usual,  by the Jacinta Barnewell,  well known health professional in the field.

Did you know that one in every two smokers will die from a smoking related death ??

80% of smokers want to quit.

40% of smokers try to quit each year.

Sometimes,  it takes several attempts to stop smoking

If you have tried before,  why not try again ??

If you go to a Stop Smoking Group,  you are twice as likely to succeed.

Each of us should be taking responsibility to staying as healthy as we possibly can.

We owe it,  not only to ourselves,  but to those who love and care for us.

A warm welcome to those who would like to come along.

Please spread the word to family and friends that this course is starting.
