Arklow Enterprise Town Initiative FREE for both exhibitors and general admission

Arklow Enterprise Town teams up with eConsult Ireland to offer exhibitors prizes valued at over €2,000

Momentum is gathering for the Arklow Enterprise Town Initiative, which takes place on 30th September and 1st October in St. Mary’s College.  Already over 110 local businesses, clubs and charities have signed up to exhibit and perform during the event, which is supported by Bank of Ireland.  Derek Tobin, Branch Manager with Bank of Ireland has been overwhelmed by the positive response so far; “Arklow Enterprise Town is shaping up to be a fantastic event with something for everyone.  Local companies will be able to network, clubs and societies can display their talents and charities raise their profile”.

The event, which is a real community effort, aims to bring all sectors together and promote everything that is positive about Arklow.  Mr. Tobin says, “We would love to see everyone come out to support this event and is completely FREE for both exhibitors and general admission.

On Friday 30th September (5pm-8pm) a business networking event will take place and Saturday 1st October (11am – 2pm) will be a community orientated day with lots of family entertainment and kids activities.  All the details will be posted on our Facebook Page ‘Arklow Enterprise Town’ over the coming weeks”.

For local organisations taking part in the event there is also a fantastic opportunity to boost their profile by winning one of two prizes from local company eConsult Ireland.

The prize draw is open to organisations exhibiting at the Arklow Enterprise Town Initiative.  There are two prizes available – the first is a ‘Digital Kick-Start Package’ for charities or voluntary organisations.  The second is a ‘Moving On Up Package’ open to SMEs looking to boost their digital footprint.

Founder of eConsult Ireland Allison Ryder says “In the digital economy, it’s important to position your shop-front to where people are going to see it.  A recent study reported that 88% of Irish consumers search online before buying and a phenomenal €850,000 per hour is spent online in Ireland”.   Arklow Enterprise Town is hoping that the two prizes offered by eConsult Ireland will help two local organisations improve their presence and profile, which embodies the ethos of this nationwide Bank of Ireland initiative.

Each prize comprises digital marketing services from eConsult Ireland valued at over €1,000.  Ms. Ryder says “the objective is to bring the business and voluntary sectors together to try and benefit local organisations who need a leg up with their online marketing”.  Anybody wishing to be in with a chance of winning one of these fantastic prizes can email competition@econsult.ie with their name and nominated charity, club, voluntary group or SME.  The prize winners will be drawn during the final hour of the Arklow Enterprise Town event on 1st October.  For more details on the prizes and how to nominate visit www.eConsult.ie/ArklowEnterpriseTown
